Tammie Harvey and her husband Bradley have faithfully met the challenges of serving the people of Zaire, Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda for 35 Years. Now, together, they are facing the challenge of Tammie’s breast cancer diagnosis.
Because the Harveys live overseas, they only pay for a high-deductible health insurance plan. Already this year, Tammie’s two surgeries and follow-up treatments have required them to pay the $10,500 deductible … and more expenses are coming.
As you can imagine, these emergency out-of-pocket expenses are devastating for this Missionary family. That’s why KBF’s Leadership Team unanimously approved launching this campaign to raise $15,000 for Tammie and Bradley.
Here’s more you should know about the Harveys.
Both Tammie and Bradley graduated from Milligan Christian College and immediately felt God calling them to the mission field. For 25 years they served with Pioneer Bible Translators. Then, in 2017 they joined the Heart for Central Africa team. For 35 years they have faithfully served Christ’s Kingdom through Christian Education, Bible translation, and practical ministry development.
Only in Heaven will we know how many African souls came to know Jesus through the ministry of Tammie and Bradley Harvey.
As Missionaries, the Harveys have lived as frugally as possible. Their only income has come from the donations of churches and individuals in the U.S. They don’t have “reserves” to meet Tammie’s medical expenses. So today, the Harveys need your help!
